If you live in Japan and have your eye on a new Android smartphone, you might want to check out theAquos Phone SH-01D from Sharp. This is a cool smartphone that comes in three colors including a bright blue. It runs Android 2.3 as the operating system.
One of the more unusual features is that the smartphone is waterproof. That means you don’t have to worry about rain or you kid spilling on it. One of the other cool and unique features is that it has a 4.5-inch 720p HD resolution screen with parallax barrier technology. That tech means 3D effects without glasses.
It also has a dual core OMAP4430 CPU at 1GHz. It has a 12MP image sensor for the rear camera and a front camera with 310,000 pixels. It also has a microSD card slot with up to 32GB of storage. The launch date of the phone in Japan is said to be December 2. Pricing is unknown at this time.
