How to use the Android sensors

android sensor 1
Using the sensors requires access, interpretation and processing. In this tutorial you will see how the standard monitoring of values is returned of sensor. The way to do this is to implementing the class SensorEventListenter and the overriding methods onSensorChange to monitor the sensor values andOnAccuracyChange, to react at changes for accuracy.
The SensorEvent object given as parameter for OnSensorChange function includes the following features:
• sensor – the sensor object that triggered the action.
• accurancy – the accuracy object of Sensor type when the event was triggered.
• values – an array of data type float that contains the new detected values.
• timestamp – the time(measured in nanoseconds), who triggered the event.
We can monitoize separate the changes of a sensor using the onAccurancyChanged method.
Accurancy represent the precision measurement of sensor, described by one of the following constants:
• SensorManager.SENSOR_STATUS_ACCURANCY_LOW – Indicates that the sensor accuracy is low and it requires recalibration.
• SensorManager.SENSOR_STATUS_ACCURANCY_MEDIUM – Data returned by the sensor is on average accuracy, and a recalibration could lead to more accurate results.
• SensorManager.SENSOR_STATUS_ACCURANCY_HIGH – The sensor operates at a maximum accuracy.
• SensorManager.SENSOR_STATUS_UNRELIABLE – Indicates that the data recieved by utilize the sensor is irrelevant. Require recalibration or the data received can not be interpreted.
To capture events from the object of sensor type reacts, we have to set SensorManager an object ofSensorEventListener type, while we specifying in the same time the sensor where is apply and the time at which they want updates.
One of the best practices in the use of sensors is recording the object SensorEventListener type and remove this record by calling register methods, unregister in onResume methods, respectively onPause the activity to ensure that data is only updated when the application is active.

Video after the break.
Using a shoulder mounted pico projector, and a Kinect-like depth of field sensor, OmniTouch creates a multitouch surface that users can interact with using their hands (video demo below). Say you were paying bills or trying to split a tab with a large part at a restaurant, you could project a calculator on the table for everyone to see, or use a whiteboard to figure out your cash flow.

3 Basic Ways to Tell Your Computer Has Been Hacked

Learning how to hack into the accounts of individuals is really convenient and pretty cool—but when the tables get turned around and you become the "hackee"—yeah, not so cool anymore. Thankfully there are some clues that may suggest you are the victim of being hacked. To learn what they are, continue reading below.

1. It Seems as Though a Ghost Lives Inside Your Computer. If you start noticing that your computer starts to act strangely, almost paranormal like—for example maybe the cursor starts to move on its own, emails that you know were untouched in your inbox before suddenly vanish, passwords magically change, or numbers and other characters appear on your screen when you are more than sure that you didn’t even touch your keyboard—then chances are your "ghost" lives in some house across the country and is controlling your laptop or desktop from a distance. As soon as you notice any kind of the unusual activity listed above, it's recommended to immediately dis enable your wireless or unplug your Ethernet cable so the hacker cannot access your computer. Then you need to immediately scan your computer with your anti virus software so that it can remove any cookies or installed malicious software that the hacker administered to your computer. If you do not have anti virus software installed because you think it's just too expensive, AVG offers a basic version for free.

2. Your Internet Connection has Suddenly Turned into a Turtle. Since hackers have to operate from a remote location to gain control of your computer, typically it will slow down your internet connection speed substantially—this is because more broadwidth is being used. Of course there can be other reasons why your internet connection is slow—perhaps you have too many files. But just to make sure, it's probably best to check your system logs to see if a second or third party has logged into your computer at any time. To do this, right click on my computer, select manage, click on computer management and then select event viewer and security.

3. Your Computer is Always Processing Information. Lastly, if you're computer is idle, but your hard drive's LED still blinks, then this is a definite red flag that a hacker has invaded your computer. Granted, an update may be occurring, but if it's not you need to immediately disconnect your LAN or WiFi and do some damage control.

Hitman Absolution : Run For Your Life Walkthrough Trailer (video)

HitmanAbsolution
Earlier this year at Rage 2011 I was given the opportunity to watch a narrated walkthrough of the upcoming Hitman Absolution.
In the walkthrough Agent 47 has been cornered in an abandoned library by the Chicago PD and now you have to try and find a way to escape.

It’s quite an incredible experience watching the multitude of different gameplay tactics and movements used in this video and the thing that really hit me when I was watching this happen live was how incredibly difficult this game looks. You really need to use all your abilities and intelligence to find a way out of a pretty well locked down Library.
That sound when he snaps the guys neck gets me every time.
Other than that keep an eye out for the graphical effects that the light, rain and dust have on the level and some of the awesome vista’s in the game.
